those who missed the first one, a happy crowd of locals gathered this autumn to
swap food and meet locals. Some wonderful Newlands kids sold lemonade for
charity; singing was gracefully offered.
Come and join your neighbours!
Bring
whatever excess produce, seedlings or cuttings from your garden; home made
goodies; recipes; gardening tips …
Free potting
mix, pots, labels, rooting hormone and wheelbarrows’ parking spots.
Sack
races anybody?
Next
swap: December 9, same place and time. 2 Sundays before school holidays after
that, for a New Newlands tradition!
Entry is still by snail donation!!! If you can’t catch one,
a smile or a hello will do!
