2015 Friends of Edgars Creek Activities Calendar

Sunday 19 April 2015, 1-3pm
Planting: Stream bank grassland restoration north of the Silurian Cliff (where the willows use to be!).
Hosted by the FOEC, Funded by Melbourne Water Community Grant (MWCG)
Meet at the Silurian Cliff site – access via Ronald St and head north past the Kodak bridge or come south from Livingstone Street, east side of the creek (Melways Map 18 A8).
Sunday 17 May 2015, 1-3pm
Planting: Stream bank shrubland extension at the concrete channel/footbridge – Ronald St.
Hosted by the FoEC, Funded by MWCG
Meet at the Ronald Street footbridge, North Coburg (Melways Map 18 A9).
Sunday 31 May 2015, time to be confirmed
Planting: Confluence Area revegetation – A combined event with Moreland City Council and other local ‘Friends’ groups; Celebrating World Environment Day.

Meet at the Edgars and Merri Creek confluence (basketball stadium), North Coburg (Melways Map 18 A10).

Planting: Escarpment site extension at the Gooseneck Meander, west side of the creek.

Sunday 21 September 2015, 1-3pm (“Christmas Party”)
Planting: Escarpment shrub and grassland revegetation on the Kodak bridge batter.
Hosted by the FoEC, Planting funded by Satterley, Christmas celebrations funded by the FoEC

Maintenance: Caravan Park site – mulching, weeding and general site maintenance activities.
