Climate for Change is a volunteer-powered, not-for-profit organisation on a mission to create the social climate for effective action on climate change. They do this by helping people have meaningful conversations about climate change with their family and friends.
After facilitating more than 80 successful gatherings in people's homes, this is their first time offering gatherings to the public at East Coburg Community House (and later at Newlands Community House on the 24 November).
The Coburg Community Houses are friendly, welcoming community houses where you can make new friends, gain new skills, share ideas and experiences. Community houses offer social, recreational, educational, and support programs for people of all of the community!
Moreland City Council acknowledges the traditional owners of the land in which we work, the Wurundjeri people. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waterways and community. We pay our respect to them and their culture, and to their Elders past, present and future.
