Climate for Change

Climate for Change Crowdfunder cups

I have recently become involved in a local not-for-profit called Climate for Change. They are running their biggest ever crowdfund to expand interstate so I hsve decided to sell 30 of my handmade cups and donate the revenue. I’m selling them right now via this chuffed fundraising page: … they’re selling fast so get in quick!
Pick up will be from Preston or the city. I expect to have the cups completed and available for pick up by the start of June. I will give updates on their progress via my Facebook page: Facebook/riverwifestudio
About Climate for Change
Climate for Change’s mission is to create the social climate in Australia for effective action on climate change. Social research tells us that people make sense of the world when they talk to people they trust. Climate for Change helps people to have conversations with their friends who are confused or unsure of what they can do. Imagine if 20% of Australians have a conversation with just two friends about climate change. We would have 60% of the population ready to take action, including ensuring those in power are ready too. Find out more about how Climate for Change are working towards this:
The Crowdfunder
Climate for Change is currently running their biggest ever crowdfund in order to raise $125, 000 by the start of June.
Their flagship program, Conversations for Change, has done groundbreaking work helping people talk about climate change in Melbourne. Now it's time to take their work interstate where it can make the biggest difference.
This crowdfund will go a long way in supporting Climate for Change expanding to two more states.
Can you donate extra?

If you can then now is a great time to do it - I just found out that from now until 11am this Wednesday donations to the crowdfund will be matched dollar for dollar (up to a total of $5000) by the NR Peace and Justice Fund. You can make donations towards my target either via the chuffed link above or this one:
