School Holiday Music Programs for children 

The Melbourne Inner North Performing Arts Academy is now taking last minute enrolments for their two specialised Choral, Vocal, Improvisation and Composition workshops for children Thursday and Friday next week. We are also offering 15% off our wonderful multi instrumental and individual tuition, vocal, yoga, dance and creative movement classes at our community music school

Join Christine in an afternoon of fun and games! Singing, vocal play and movement integrate to become rich learning opportunities that are seriously fun and engaging. Kodaly based with creative and collaborative, active and dynamic sessions will have them singing all the way home!

About Christine Marie Storey

Christine is in demand throughout Australia as a dynamic and fun choral and vocal workshop leader and conductor. As a professional singer and voice teacher herself, she specializes in vocal techniques, vocal health and playful learning for choristers and choral groups of all ages and experience.

A CLOCKWORK FISH – Creative Music Workshop by Charles MacInnes

Be part of creating a brand new collaborative piece of music by learning about silence, sound, vibrations and rhythm in an enjoyable workshop environment. Participants will have the chance to invent and build their own instruments from tubes and pipes, add electronic filters and effects, and record the resulting sounds. Suitable for all ages!

Charles MacInnes is a professional trombonist and composer with over thirty years experience across a wide range of genres from orchestral, contemporary, jazz, commercial, theatre, studio, electronic to experimental. He is currently completing a PhD at Monash University researching improvisation in contemporary classical music. Charles is the director of Ensemble Density and specialises in facilitating creative music workshops for young people.
