Join Bibha for this three-week workshop on full body baby massage, held at the Maternal and Child Health Centre at Newlands Neighbourhood House.

In each one-hour session, parents will be guided through a number of specific strokes for baby massage, with the aim of practicing the methods at home. Sessions two and three will begin by addressing any questions or concerns parents had in their home practice, before introducing new techniques and strokes. The three-week course is designed to allow for an intuitive approach to baby massage, and one that prioritises confidence and comfort, where both parents and babies can gain the full benefits of this practice.

Friends of Edgars Creek

Untitled-2

Hi All,

The Edgars Creek will be the beneficiary of more of our time and energy this Sunday, 1-3PM at the site at the end of Norfolk Court in North Coburg (off Newlands Road).

We will continue with the steam verge planting of shrubs and trees at this site in the same location as the last Norfolk Court planting in June; we also have a few grasses/rushes in the mix, though not too many.

As per usual arrangements, 1-3 is the official time and me and Ben will be active from around 11-11.30 getting the trailer sorted and getting on site to make your planting experience a smooth ride. Feel free to join us earlier if that suits you; please let me know and we can directly communicate as to when we arrive on the creek.

The weather is becoming distinctly spring-like, the wattle flower is popping and we've lucked out with the forecast. At this stage a top of only 13 and the chance of showers.
Rain, hail or shine we will be on site and the plants will find new forever homes!

Hope to See you on the Creek!

Regards,
David.
