Myself and a few other women are in training for the 30km Coast Trek challenge to raise money for the Fred Hollows Foundation. In May we will walk the 30km from Blairgowie to Point Nepean as a team of 4. As part of this challenge we are also looking to raise $2000 as a team. To make it fun and to reward you for helping raise funds to restore sight we are hosting a movie night on Friday the 24th of March. There will also be a raffle with wonderful prizes on the night - and a high chance of winning because there will only be 30 people present on the night (and multiple prizes).
All proceeds (the venue is donated) will go to the Fred Hollows Foundation - each ticket restores the sight of one person.
The Movie we will be screening is called The Way - it is a movie about a fathers journey on the Camino (a pilgrims walk in Europe after the death of his son). Come along for a night night out - have a drink and a nibble and maybe even win a prize as well as restore someones sight. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
