Newlanders - Just to let you know there are now several places available for the:

The Water Cycle to Williamstown Sunday 28th February
8.30 am leaving Coburg Lake arrive Williamstown 1pm

In time to participate in:
2-4 pm Scenes of the Yarra Williamstown Williamstown



The Cycle is a Free 28km bicycle ride (run with YHA Cycling and Transition Darebin) along our water ways to Williamstown  where the Yarra meets the sea organised through TD and YHA Cycling. The cycle has a max of 15 people so won't be a big crowd.  BYO everything and we will ride in a group

We are expecting a few hundred for the Scenes of the Yarra event as it is the culmination of a whole series of amazing events.

CycleWise

CycleWise is a guided group ride that is designed for adults who can cycle, but are not confident cycling around the city. CycleWise covers Victorian road rules, bike safety checks, safe riding in traffic, route planning and more. You will gain skills riding off road and take a safe and escorted ride through streets.
 The workshop currently costs $20 ($10 concession) and includes lunch at The Glass Den Cafe in Coburg.
 The event will take place from 10am – 3pm this Saturday 24th October at Coburg Town Hall, 90 Bell Street, Coburg.

The Happiness Cycle – Calling all teens!

The Happiness Cycle is riding into Darebin to help get local teens riding and keeping active. Spots are available and all participants get to build their own bike and take it home!

Date: Thursday 11 September
Venue: Darebin Community Sports Stadium, Plenty Road Reservoir
Registrations are essential: www.happinesscycle.com.au
Students will take home: A brand new bike, helmet, lights and locks!
