Farewell Tribute Walk for our 135 year-old Upfield Railway Line

Walk from Coburg Railway Station to Tinning St, North Brunswick (3 km), hosted by Coburg Historical Society.

Saturday 12th October from 1.30pm to approximately 4pm.

Meet at Coburg Railway Station and bring water, sun hat, and a Myki Card (if you want to ride back to Coburg by train or tram). Cost is $5 for non members and gold-coin donation for members.

Numbers are strictly limited so book by emailing coburghistory@gmail.com.

The Level Crossing Removal Project intends to remove the Bell Street, Munro st, Reynard St and Moreland Road level crossings by sky railing. This will change the railway line for ever. Coburg signal box will be removed. Coburg railway reserve trees will be removed and 113 trees (many mature) in Gandolfe Gardens (Moreland) are in danger!
