With the Federal Election approaching I would like to remind those of us to the west of Edwards creek, but not past Merri creek, that we have moved electorate from Wills to Cooper.

They sneaked that one in after the 2016 State Elections and frankly I would not have know had I not answered the door on Saturday to 2 Victorian Socialists, one from Willis and the other from Cooper - I know, you don’t see any for years and then 2 turn up at once!

Anyhoo, regardless of one’s political affiliation I’m sure we can all agree that the first step of democracy is probably voting for the person who is actually representing you.

Need some by-election placards?

In response to the person who asked about Stop Adani placards/house signs for the Batman by-election… 

There are ‘Vote Climate’ and ‘I’m voting to stop Adani’ signs being distributed by Darebin Climate Action Now as well as some other groups. I’ve organised to have a stack of them delivered to my house in Preston (Thursday) so that people who don’t want to go down to Northcote to collect can pick up locally from my place.
