MINPAA is happy to announce the opening of their brand new early childhood class just for 3-year-olds every Friday 9.30-10.15.
Our classes are multi-instrumental and provide the children with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of music while actively enjoying and exploring piano/keyboard, guitar/ukulele, drum kit/percussion, creative movement.
Our classes follow a ten-week curriculum plan that incorporates musical styles and cultures from around the world.
Each lesson is also focused on a particular music element which is then transferred to the different forms of musical expression including voice, creative movement, and instrumentation.
We follow a range of methodologies including Kodaly and Orff and the children have great joy in learning and responding to simple notation which forms the beginning of musical literacy.
