Hi All,
It has been some time since our last communication.
I hope everyone is well and that the COVID-normal is treating you well.
Lockdown was really tough and we certainly didn't need a little re-traumatisation in February but we got through it all.
We are holding our AGM on Sunday March 21st at 10.00AM. The venue will be the creek. This year I have decided I'd like a city view so we will be at the outlook area, up the hill on the right side of the Kodak bridge (check in with me if you need more specific directions). As per usual we annually vacate all positions on the committee and elect to each position. Any nominations are welcome and can be received prior to the event or on the day (positions are President, Treasurer and Secretary with several appointed positions made annually as well).
After the AGM we will undertake some maintenance activities and we also have a supply of river red gums available to us. It is a little early to plant, I can hear a few people muttering, However, these babies have been promised to us on the proviso that they hit the ground ASAP. I sense custodial plantings coming on - they will certainly benefit from a little watering in over the autumn (depending on rains of course).
I look forward to seeing as many people at the AGM as possible and if you are really averse to meetings, please still join us from around 10.30am for some maintenance and perhaps just a chin wag if that is your inclination!
See you on the creek!
David.
