Can anyone recommend a pool fence builder? Glass and metal fencing needed.

Also they'd need to know about the compliance regulations.

Let me know!

Strumming Workshop

Untitled-2

Hi Everyone,

Due to the current circumstances, we've had to postpone the planned Strumming Workshop until Tuesday July 6, 7 - 9pm, which is during the term break. If you had previously booked in, could you please send a brief email to confirm that you can still attend on the new date.

There are still a few face to face places left so do get in touch if you hadn't booked previously and you'd like to join us. We are also offering a Zoom option, either to attend the workshop live via Zoom, and/or to receive a recording to view in your own time.

Many thanks,

Rachel

Free - Wardrobe

Very sturdy solid wood (maybe oak?) wardrobe. Free to a good home.

1.38m wide x 1.93m high x 0.51m deep

Was originally my mothers. I used it as my main wardrobe for many years, then a friend’s been using it for quite some time after I moved into a place with built-ins. It’s just recently been returned and I’ve reluctantly decided to let go of it as I don’t have the room and would rather it be put to good use.

In good condition, just a few minor marks. (Photos may not do it full justice, as it’s in my garage and the light’s not the best.)

Pick up from West Preston.

Hello NECCHi Community!

We are so excited to announce that our Semester 2 Program is now live!

It's been awesome to hear your feedback about our last program, and we've loved being able to have you back in the houses after such an unpredictable year!

In planning this program, we've met with so many talented facilitators and community members, all keen to offer their skills to create some incredible workshops and events. We have old favourites here to stay, like the hugely popular Little Seeds Playgroup and Iyengar Yoga, but we've also added some fun new friends into the mix. Below is just a little taste - head to the website to see our full list of programs and events for the rest of the year!
A Covid-Responsive Program

Obviously (like everyone!), we are still operating in a Covid-19 world. We have tried to develop a program that is adaptable, and we have worked with our facilitators to make sure we can deliver our program even if restrictions return.

Free & Sponsored Places!
We recognise it has been a difficult year for many. We believe in programs that are accessible to all - so many of our programs are completely FREE!

We also have sponsored places for all our paid programs for those that find it difficult to cover the cost.

Get in touch with us for a chat if you would like to access a sponsored place. It is as simple as giving us a call or email and requesting a sponsored place code, and you are all set to book into the program of your choice.

We are always working to improve access to our spaces and programs by community and welcome all suggestions of ways to make NECCHi more accessible to community.

After much anticipation... coffee is coming! Brewlands will be helmed by barista Oli. The cafe will open from 13th July, on Tuesdays & Thursday from 9-3pm. We've got primo beans from Clark St Coffee and fab milk from St Davids Dairy - with non-dairy options too. Thanks to Murph's Co-Op for sorting us with the goods. We can't wait to share a cup with you in the foyer, or the garden, or you can grab one on the run. Viva la coffee break!

Last year was a difficult year for many, and we really missed the opportunity to hang out and have a chat in the houses. We’d love to invite you, your friends, family, kids, carers, to come and say hi at our dedicated drop-in Open House on Tuesday mornings.

Come and say hello, chill out in our new lounge and enjoy a coffee from Brewlands! The garden will be open for a potter around in, and the craft supplies cupboard is fully stocked and ready to be used.

Tuesdays, 11.30-1pm @ Newlands Neighbourhood House

As always, if you have any questions, ideas or suggestions for the houses, let us know! We can't wait to see you at one of our programs this semester.
