Women's Guitar Groups Term 2 2022
Join us to learn to play your favourite songs in a small friendly group! 
If you've been wanting to learn or get back to guitar, Women's Guitar Groups provide encouragement, motivation and support, catering for Absolute Beginners, Beginners, and Developing Players, age 16 and up. 
Groups are held at Feminista Vinyl in Coburg, or with an option to join via Zoom.
Here is what Sandra D says about Women's Guitar Group:
.....What I found at Rachel’s guitar group was more than I was looking for. I found joy and connection, empowerment and inspiration and the magic that happens when people share the gift of music. I love spending an hour every fortnight with women of with similar interests and abilities to mine, in a relaxed and non-competitive environment under the nurturing and experienced guidance of the amazing guitar player and songwriter that is Rachel Wilson. Abs Beginners: Tuesday 6.30 - 7.30pm, new weekly group!
Beginners: Tuesday 7.30 - 8.30pm, fortnightly, for people who know most open chords
Developing: Tuesday 1 - 2pm OR 7.30 - 8.30pm fortnightly, for people who are confident with open chords and strumming
Standard Fees are $110 for 5 x 1 hour group sessions, with a sliding scale according to circumstances

These are the types of questions we’re asking, and we’d love to know your answers!We love a face to face convo - this Saturday the 30th, from 10 am -12 pm Oli will be making her famous Brewlands coffee for FREE, we welcome you to drop by and have a chat to the team and our board about your future visions for both NECCHi and the community. See you there!

Our survey is still live and ready for your feedback if you can't make it in person :)NB. BBQs are off so this coffee session will be our one face-to-face session.

Show the candidates that Cooper voters want emergency climate action in this term of government - and that we value and demand native forest protection
The Darebin Climate Alliance is holding a Cooper Climate Election Forum. The forum is a chance to put questions directly to the candidates. Sitting member, Ged Kearney from the Labor Party, Celeste Liddle from The Greens, Adrian Whitehead, from the newly formed Fusion party, and Kath Larkin from the Victorian Socialists will be attending. Other candidates will be invited as they become known. The forum will be moderated by Emeritus Professor Judy Brett, resident of the Cooper electorate, political historian and author of From Secret Ballot to Democracy Sausage.  
When: Wednesday 27th April 7pm
