Hi Newlanders,

We have a little duplex which is having an overhaul of its windows.

This means we have security screens to give away in the next month.

Including for both front and back doors.

You will have to remove if you want them.

If you are interested, give me a call/text.

Cheers,

Robyn - 0426 502 594.

Friends of Edgars Creek

Untitled-2

Hi FoEC'ers and Friends,
Hope you are all well. Thankfully we have had a delivery of a months worth of rain over the last week or so. Really funny to see some puddles again after a horribly dry September that was officially the driest on record.
We are undertaking maintenance this weekend; I'm calling it "Operation corflute return". We will meet on the Kodak Bridge on Spectrum Way (the black and white bridge with the QR code look painted on the old road surface). I have two sites that I really want to see cleaned up so hopefully we have enough people to hit both sites and get the plastic guards outta there!
The forecast is for a cooler 16-degree day after a warm week ahead.

Please remember to use sunscreen, wear protective equipment, and bring your own water and food supplies. Also a hot tip - always look inside every guard before touching them as wasps are active at this time of the year and they are partial to building their nests inside the guards.
See you on the creek!
David.

Carer/Housemate

Untitled-2

Looking for a Carer/Housemate Bundoora
85-year-old Italian background male, with a warm sense of humour, a happy disposition, and lovely to be around is seeking someone to give him a helping hand in exchange for free rent.
Assistance with some personal care, cooking, having a meal together, helping in the garden, and helping him up if he falls. He is cognitively sharp but more psychically restricted.
He still makes his own wine, salami, and passata! 🍅
The house is a 3-bedroom home, conveniently located, within walking distance to shops, PT, and universities.
Pets are very welcomed, but a dog must be ok with 6 roaming chooks!🐓
