Medicine for Tibet

Untitled-2

Medicine for Tibet Jam is on again. This is a fund raiser to maintain a medical centre in an isolated area of Tibet. See www.medicinefortibet.org. The jam is organic made by my sister from black currants grown at Highland Herbs Tasmania. www.highlandherbs.com.au

Jam costs $9 per jar or 5 for $40.
Black Currant Coulis is $8 per jar

They would make great Christmas presents or Kris Kringles.

I also have Medicine for Tibet T shirts in size small (in white, pink and pale green) and extra small (in white and pale green). They are good for small women (sizes 8 & 10) or big children and cost $20.

I will deliver to the Newlands area or people can pick up. Contact Barbara on breeckman@gmail.com or 0402137803.

Company 13 Melbourne Fringe 2013

Untitled-2

Come and see a new show by Company13 this weekend at The Substation in Newport.
Local theatre artist Vanessa Chapple is one of the performers and would love to see you there!

When your head gets in the way of your heart it can kill you.
A new work by the theatre ensemble Company 13 about obsession, desire, and loyalty.
A melodramatic tale woven together with personal stories and a chorus of complete idiots. Told with pace, simplicity, and original live music. This is one story and many stories about how we find happiness and unhappiness in our pursuit of love.

A show that blends over-the-top melodrama with personal story telling and absurdist idiocy. 'The Hunter: The Hunted’  is  a joyous bold show made with sweat, tears, gnashing of teeth, rolling of eyes, clapping of hands, and leapings of joy.

Lost Cat!

Untitled-2

We've lost a cat. He is about 8 years old is black and fluffy. He has very light green eyes and a chin like Ron Perlman. He is missing toes on his back feet. His name is Belvedere and he has no collar or tags. We were looking after him whilst his owners are on holidays. If you see him can you call me or Darren and we'll come and get him.
Thanks!

Good Place for a Car Service?‏

Untitled-2
Can anyone recommend a local garage/mechanic?
I need to organise an annual service/check on a "mature" Hyundai Getz.  Would be very grateful if someone could point me in the direction of a reliable local business.  Thanks!

Lost Dog

Untitled-2

Hello, we found a small male dog, maybe 2 or 3 years old, wandering around Elizabeth St in Coburg North, opposite the park at around 6.30pm last night. He was there by himself and had no collar, and he seemed a bit lost. It was getting dark and didn't want him to get run over, so we picked him up and took him to Lort Smith in North Melbourne. He's at Lort Smith now, and think he will go to the council or Lost Dogs Home tomorrow.
