Restore Retreat

Emily and Rachael (now both locals!)are excited to be coming together again in 2024 to share their love of song, movement, and beautiful environments in a therapeutic group space. Over the weekend Emily and Rachael will facilitate group process and sharing, singing, gentle movement, yoga, and relaxation.   There will also be time for quiet reflection and wanderings on the property and even a swim in one or both of the dams.

Emily and Rachael hope that you will be able to make it along and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

The cost for the weekend is $450 per person and includes camping accommodation, all meals, and facilitation.  You are welcome to arrive any time from 4pm on Friday 23rd February and we will finish up by 3pm on Sunday 25th. 

The weekend will be held at Henwood Studio in Hurstbridge.

Staying the night: included accommodation includes camping on-site in a tent or there is some limited indoor accommodation for a small additional cost.  Please see the flyer attached get in touch with us to find out more.

Maths and English Tutor

Hi There,

My name is Mat and I'm a 20 year old student, studying a bachelor of arts with a concurrent diploma of maths at Melbourne Uni, I graduated Coburg High in 2021 with a 90+ ATAR, I did specialist and methods (in specialist I got a raw 29 scaled to a 40, somewhere in the 30s for methods can't remember exactly), but I also have 2 years uni maths on top of that. I also got a raw 39 in English and a raw 40 in media and would feel confident to tutor either of those subjects.

I have a real passion for maths and English (I think being able to write and communicate well is such an invaluable skill!!), I am most likely going to do a masters of teaching after my undergrad to be a maths and media teacher. I've also been working as a swim teacher for the last year and a skateboard teacher for the last two years, so I have a lot of experience with kids and teaching, as well as that I have been doing a bit of maths tutoring on the side.

I can teach anything from Y7-Y12 maths and English, however, I didn't do English language or further maths so to be upfront, I would not be the best tutor for either of those. I would charge anywhere between $30-$50 an hour, depending on the subject, happy to negotiate price.

Our 2023 Survey is here! Happy New Year from all of us at NECCHi! We hope you are enjoying a fabulous and restful holiday break with friends and family.  The NECCHi Newlands office is now open from Tuesday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, but we're operating with an even smaller team than usual, so we appreciate your patience as we get back to you. Email (enquiries@necchi.org) is generally best for us as we're not always in the office, but we will be checking the phones periodically as well. The NECCHi East Coburg office will remain closed until Tuesday 30th January. Brewlands Cafe is also back to regular hours now too: Tuesday - Friday, 8.30am - 12.30pm.  AND - our Term 1 program begins on Monday 29th Jan, yay! This newsletter comes with a slight agenda (shh!) but we'd love to get your feedback on our programming last year.
