Human Rights Working Group

Hi,

Moreland Council is reviewing the Statement of Commitment to Women from 1998 and I am excited to be involved in this process.

We are currently planning for a community forum on Tuesday 12 December as well as an online survey and focus groups in November-December.  

  We are looking for volunteers:

·         With a connection to Moreland/ experience in supporting the Moreland community

·         Awareness of and passion for gender equality and human rights

·         Available for five 1.5-hour working group sessions in the early evening between November 2017 and February 2018 (see proposed session outline in the attachment).

Informal expressions of interest/ applications to be emailed to cdspevents@moreland.vic.gov.au  due Friday 10 November.

Please consider joining the working group and/ or share this opportunity with your networks/colleagues/friends.

Moreland Community Safety Forum

Join us for the first Moreland Community Safety Forum and help prioritise community safety issues in our community. This forum is open to the public but direct invitations are focusing on members of the diverse migrant communities in and around Moreland.
