Needed
Beeswax needed for school project!
Hi, my friend I are making some organic natural candles for our year 4 Genius Hour project at Newlands Primary School.
Do you have any old BEESWAX candles or bits that you want to see reused?
If you do let my dad know, Jason 0411 987 264.
Thanks Lily, and Zaynah.

Kite Festival
Come and decorate a flag with your personal message responding to climate change.
Newlands Parents for Climate Action have been sewing up flags to offer to the broader community to make messages as part of the Climate Flags project.
Newlands Parents for Climate Action have been sewing up flags to offer to the broader community to make messages as part of the Climate Flags project.
The kite festival will be a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to add their voice to this project, which aims to stimulate conversation, reflection and action on climate change.
Made by the community, for the community, Climate Flags will be raised at rallies and community events to convey the breath of personal responses to the climate crisis.
The Darebin Kite Festival is on this Sunday from 11am to 4pm. Our stall will be near the storytelling
tent.

Free
Free - handsome young cock.
We hatched this handsome fellow but can’t keep him :-(
His name is egg2D2, but we now we know that’s not a great name for him. He’s a Rosecomb, which is a bantam heritage breed and eventually look something like this -
Inspections welcome but our neighbours won’t tolerate him for long, so get in quick.

Attempted Break In
Attempted house break-in, March 20, Coburg North.
Returned home to Livingstone Street around 3pm Wednesday to find a large pot plant on front veranda moved a couple of feet, front bedroom fly screen removed and glass front door panel shattered. Apparently an abandoned attempt at forced entry. (Dog was doubtless going ballistic in back yard).
Fawkner Police came and dusted for fingerprints (!) within 30 minutes, found nothing but a shoe imprint on glass. Plant would've been moved looking for spare key, they said. "Probably completely random. They'll steal a car, pull up somewhere and have a go. Generally very quiet in this area."
Would have happened sometime between 10.30am and 3pm. Be vigilant friends.
Purse Found
Hello
I found this purse at the 527 bus stop corner of Murray Road & Elizabeth street.
I have handed in the found purse at Fawkner police station.
Regards,
Aashima.
House Sitter
Hi Folks,
I am away from the 2nd-7th June and am looking for someone to hang out with Ruby, a way smart 7yr kelpie cross. We live in a wee bungalow with the creek and parklands on the doorstep. Give me a ring on 0438 507 694 if you are interested.
Cheers, Anne.
