Female GP?

Untitled-2

Hello everyone,
Can anyone recommend a female GP interested in womens health? Preferably local, or localish, at least not as far as Montmorency where my previous GP just moved!
Thanks, Zoe

  1. There's one called Caroline (I think) Cornwallis on Miller St. I haven't been to her personally but I contacted her having seen the sign and she rang back herself... In her practice in Thornbury she concentrates on women's health, and also does a couple of days a week at Harding St in Coburg.

  2. East Brunswick Medical Centre has 3 great female (and two just as great male) GP's.

  3. Dr Melanie Simpson at Harding St Medical Centre in Coburg is lovely.

    1. I agree!
I met her today for the first time and she conducted the most comfortable pap smear that I have ever had.

  4. We've been going to Harding Street Medical Centre in Coburg for at least a decade now and have seen most of the doctors, male and female. All of them are excellent and there are a number of female doctors. I saw Margaret Eagle during my first pregnancy, Angie Read in my second, and Melanie Simpson in my third. Natalie Wheaton has seen my sons and I for other issues, as has Dr Jindasa. They really are all great. I haven't seen Caroline Cornwallis, but I believe she specialises in women's health.

  5. We go to the Preston Medical Centre on Bell St - Michelle Leadston is fantastic, Cath Keaney pretty great too. Others are good there too but I can't remember their names!
    Cheers, Amy
