Come along to the first of our Sustainable Food Leaders Forums for 2013 where we will build on the themes and ideas generated at our last Forum in November, and provide the Darebin community the opportunity to help shape Council’s Sustainable Food and Food Security agenda into the future. With contributions from our Community Planning, Partnerships and Performance; Environment and Natural Resources; and Public Realm departments, this forum will focus on how we can use our open spaces and natural environment to address food security issues and improve the sustainability of food systems in Darebin. Come along and network with other community members who are passionate about building a more sustainable food future and participate in group feedback / brainstorming sessions. Light refreshments will be provided. A detailed agenda will be issued in the next week or so. Please feel free to pass this invitation on to your members or contacts who are involved in Sustainable Food and / or Food Security. RSVP’s are required by Monday 18th March to Lee Tozzi on lee.tozzi@darebin.vic.gov.au or phone 8470 8392
