Presented by Moreland Youth Services, Flicks n’ Kicks is a popular outdoor FREE event for young people. This year’s event will feature an Outdoor Cinema, Night Skating, Live Music Stage, Soccer, Basketball, DJ’s, Food stalls and more. The Live music stage will kick the event off at 6pm, featuring Melbourne bands ‘8- Bit Love, The Primary and The Darjeeling’s’.
Beginner and experienced skaters are invited to come skate under the lights on the Harmony Park bowl, with skate clinics and competitions, prizes and giveaways 7pm-10.30pm. Twilight soccer games and basketball hoop comps from 6pm.
Quirky teenage comedy JUNO (M) will be showing from sundown (8.30pmish) on the outdoor movie screen. Bring your own picnic rug or bean bag. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase from the food stalls. Oh and did we mention free popcorn from sundown?!
How to get to Harmony Park: 187-195 Gaffney St Coburg. You can reach the Park via the 543 Glenroy to Coburg bus, the Number 19 North Coburg tram (get off at Gaffney Street) or the Upfield train line (Batman station).
