Animal Rights have increasingly become a major issue in Federal politics. With issues such as Live Exports, Factory Farming, Whaling and Protection of Natural Habitats being debated on the floor of parliament. The Greens have a strong and recognised position in regards to Animal Rights in politics. This event is a part of a series of forums that aims to provide opportunities, in the lead up to the Federal Election, for residents of Batman to hear, discuss and share views on key issues with their local Greens candidate - Alex Bhathal.
Each speaker will speak for 10-20 minutes followed by an open discussion. Tea, Coffee & Refreshments will be provided.
