Hi Friends and Members, If you have been down at the Ronald Street area in the last 24 hours you will have seen a beautifully prepared planting site beneath the red gums near the foot bridge (thanks Moreland CC for help with the mulch and preparation on this site). Suffice to say this is our planting site. Super easy to access so no explanations needed. This is "Christmas in September" planting and will be followed by a celebratory toast to the planting season of 2013. We will also be opting for easier catering this year - pizzas will be ordered as well! To add to the community celebration we may have some local musicians in attendance so if you had an easy to carry instrument such as a guitar/jembe or other instrument bring it along as we may have some informal jamming happening. I'll be bringing my didgeridoos! The forecast is favourable for the day with evening rain predicted with 21 degrees during the day. As usual Rob and I will be on site from around 10.30-11.00 AM and all are welcome to come along earlier and assist with set-up of the planting and other tasks See you on the creek!
