Writing a plan isn’t as daunting as you might think. For artists and creatives, a plan is a structured way to think about your career goals and outline the steps to get there.
In this session we’ll be talking about:
§ Why creatives need to consider planning as an essential part of transitioning from hobbyist to professional
§ Identifying the values and beliefs that drive your practice
§ How to establish goals for your creative practice
§ What information you need to bring together in your plan
§ A practical and manageable template for your business plan
This informative and practical workshop will be lead by Kevin Brennan, and will help with developing skills for your creative career!
Kevin Brennan has worked in the arts and cultural arena for over 25 years as an artist, producer, facilitator and entrepreneur covering a range of art forms and practice. He has extensive experience in teaching, facilitating community engagement, writing strategy and analysis and developing policy in this field.
