Community Forum

Untitled-2

The Napthine Government has cut more than $300 million a year from TAFE, with drastic impacts for students who now face much higher fees, fewer course options and much reduced support with their studies.

TAFE 4 All is a campaign to restore proper funding to public TAFE and better regulate the funding available to private providers who do not always have the best interests of students at heart.

TAFE 4 All is hosting a community forum this Thursday Nov 6th from 5 - 6.30pm at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre that explores what has happened to TAFE in the Northern region, and what we can do about it.

All candidates for the State Election have been invited - its really important that we show them the community cares about having a high quality public TAFE system that provides real opportunities for people wanting vocational training and work, including early school leavers, migrants and refugees, people needing to retrain, women wanting to reenter the workforce.

All welcome! Enquiries to meaghan.flack@aeuvic.asn.au or 9418 4886.
