Please read and consider acting on the following endorsement (from my parents) of independent candidate Peter Allan for the Northern Metropolitan Region in the upcoming elections. If you feel comfortable, please circulate this message among your networks too.

I know Peter too and have a high opinion of his knowledge and integrity in the areas of environmentalism, sustainability and life cycle analysis; he has contributed to articles on these topics that I've written for Sanctuary and ReNew sustainable living magazines.

We would like to let you know that Peter Allan, a friend of ours, is standing as an Independent Community candidate for the Northern Metropolitan Region.

We have known Peter for over 10 years and respect him as a person of great integrity, intelligence and energy.  He is also well known to our son Toby, his wife Melina and her family.

Peter's policies and biography can be seen on his website at http://peterallan.net.au/    We feel his environmental, transport and social justice policies are especially strong.  Peter will be exchanging preferences carefully in support of these policies.

We hope you will consider voting 1 for Peter Allan above the line on the Legislative Council ballot paper, for good policies and a truly independent voice for the Northern Metropolitan Region in the Victorian Parliament.  If you choose to pass this message on to your networks, that would be great.
