Dear friends , come and join our magical afternoon of family centred activities, including story-telling , movement and song , playing and creating with natural materials. Our ‘angel helpers’ will watch over smaller children in our magical sand garden, and assist older children and adults of all ages and abilities to make beautiful things together. Please join us for a unique and memorable experience that can be shared with your whole family, providing the opportunity to meet and appreciate each other in a new way while mastering new skills.
Carol Liknaitzky leads the team, motivated by her love for children, empathy for parents, and joy in doing creative work for the past 40 years. She brings with her a team of experienced crafters and artists, who are equally inspired to share their skills and support families in learning together.
In the first five sessions she will be accompanied by Nikki Fletcher who has a way with wool and felting that turns everyone into an artist and everything into magical expression. She is an educator and has been working with parents and children for many years.
Also for the five sessions, John Elliott, the willing and wily woodworking whittler, will show you many ways to craft things with wood – tools, toys or treasures made from found wood with simple hand tools.
Assisted by angel helpers Mel, Stacey and Jane.
