Moreland Relay for Life
Now in its fourth year Moreland Relay for Life, which has raised over $170,000 since 2011 for Cancer Council Victoria, is looking for on the day volunteers.Volunteer opportunities range from helping out with the catering, facilities and entertainment, survivor and carer support, setting up and packing down, there are countless options to provide meaningful support. If you can spare a couple hours of your time during the Relay, we'd really appreciate it. The premise is simple – for the event to be a success, helping hands are needed and all support is welcomed and encouraged!
The Moreland Relay for Life will take place on 28 – 29 March 2015, 4pm – 10am. The event is organised by a volunteer committee. Guided and supported by a staff member from the Cancer Council, the committee works together, with volunteer members contributing what they can. It is extremely satisfying, motivating and uplifting and most of all we are working towards one goal – a cancer free world. This is a great opportunity to gain event experience and become involved with a worthwhile event, support your community and provide a meaningful contribution toward the fight against cancer. The reward – an overwhelming sense of pride at knowing you have helped orchestrate an incredible gesture of community support.

Volunteers of all ages are welcomed. If you are under 16 years, parental consent is required.
