Dear neighbours, for those of you who like me used to enjoy walking, playing or gazing upon the open grassland beside the Coburg Pool we now have a 2-3 metre wide path running through it. Bike paths are good -- I'm a cyclist myself -- but do they need to be everywhere? In any case, I called the council and apparently there was no community consultation engaged for this stretch of concrete.

I saw this last week and thought the same. Is this some move by Moreland City Council to establish a designated thoroughfare to slow down any building development proposals?
