Our Wonderful Mountain Ash Forests – Time to Protect Them

Come along and hear about the wonderful Central Highland Ash forest and its iconic Leadbeater Possum. Victoria's most spectacular mountain ash forest is on our door step (near Healesville and Warbuton just over an hour away). It is our water catchment and home to Victoria's emblem, the Leadbeater's Possum.  Thought of as the forests ‘canary in the coalmine’ as an indicator of the health of the forest – the Leadbeaters Possum is now critically endangered.
