Jutemat?

Hi Newlanders.

I was wondering if any gardeners may be interested in co-purchasing some jutemat (weed suppressing mat).  It's an effective mat, biodegradable, that is used on revegetation projects to give plants a good start.  You then put mulch on top of the mat.

I called Treemax today who advised me the local factory that manufactures jutemat has recently closed, so it now needs to be imported.  It only comes in a twin pack: 2 rolls of 1metre x 25 metres.  This is at a cost of $86.93 + GST. 

I probably need 1 metre x 14 m, so give me a call if you would like to chip in for a portion of the twin pack.  Or alternatively if you have some excess jutemat hanging around you'd like to get rid of.
