NEW MUSIC PLAY GROUP

"Everyone is Musical" is a new Music Play Group at the Newlands Community Centre on Friday mornings, 11am-12:30pm.

It's a laid-back session, with a small group of mums singing along to a playlist of kids songs. Our aim is to give kids (aged 6 months - 5 years) a chance to sing, dance, and make music. The atmosphere will be super relaxed, so don't expect a perfectly run show... It's in the hands of the mums and the kids who turn up to make of it what they will :)

Without the cost of a professional teacher, we just ask you to contribute a gold coin donation to cover venue costs. You can come on a casual basis, there's no need to commit. This does mean there might be more people some weeks and less other weeks.

The session runs from 11am until 12:30pm, with fhe music component running for approx half an hour from 11.15am-11.45am. This gives us 15 minutes beforehand to set up, and 45 minutes afterwards to hang around and chat, have a cuppa, or have a bite together (please BYO food, no food will be supplied). If you just want to come for the music component, that's fine too.
