Hi Newlanders.
My husband and I are in the process of renovating our Californian Bungalow in West Preston and are looking for an experienced possibly semi-retired builder/carpenter to work with us to provide us with expert advice and mentoring and also carpentry services for the really tricky bits.
We want to work with someone who is driven by producing high-quality work and attention to detail, and has the patience to work with 'newbies' to renovating.
THE WORK:
• Removal and replacement of weatherboard cladding
• Insulating and building wrap
• Interior and external painting
• Replacing shingles around bay window and gable end
• Straightening / squaring of walls
Plus whatever else comes up!
Obviously we know our limitations and will let the experts and certified trades-people do what they need to do, we're interested in doing whatever we can that is possible.
TIMING
We expect that we’d need help for somewhere between a half and one full day on the weekends spanning over a month or so. We’re not running to any tight timeframes so can be flexible to fit in with your schedule.
