Looking for timber offcuts!

Hi everyone,

We would like to buy a box or so of timber offcuts for my brother-in-law for Christmas - he is very hard to buy for but likes playing around with his wood turning lathe.

Does anyone have any leads for a carpenter or timber artist who might have some assorted offcuts they would sell us?
