Friends of Edgar's Creek

Untitled-2

Hello FoECers and friends,

I am sending out a late notice of the FoEC AGM which will be held this Sunday, March 6th at 11AM. The venue is the creek! We will convene at the Ronald Street area - the forecast is certainly favourable with warm conditions forecast; we'll probably need sunscreen and hats.

All positions on the committee are vacated on an annual basis. Nominations are welcome for the positions of President, Treasurer and Secretary.

In other news, our calendar is almost complete. we have had a late change to one of our Moreland Council sponsored events that I am awaiting final information on. We have ordered our plants for the year ahead, we have our materials, all we need is some rain and cooler weather to launch into planting in a few weeks time!

I would also like to extend an invitation to FoEC members to forward ideas or articles for our contribution to the quarterly Merri Growler newsletter - send me an email our give me a call if you would like to contribute on this front.

I look forward to seeing you on the creek!

Regards,
David Pavone.
