A Question

I'm hoping... 

 I went to Newlands High School late 60s to early 70s, I remember a school mate Margaret Boschma who died in mysterious circumstances.  

 I seem to remember drowning and Coburg Lake in the mix as well.  

 Google doesn't turn anything up, can you suggest somewhere I can look?
