My young daughter has a terrible habit of hurling lovingly hand knitted beanies from her pram while I'm not paying attention... A beautiful purple and pink striped number was turfed this morning somewhere in the Newlands hood.
It was brand new - made to replace a rainbow coloured one lost a few weeks earlier (still MIA ).
