Girl Gang: Video and Sound Skill-Share

East Coburg Community House

Wednesdays 16 November, 6.30 – 8.30 pm
Join us for a video and sound editing skill-share with video artist Miranda Liebscher.
The workshop aims to enable creatives to be less reliant on high cost industry software/hardware. We will look at what is accessible and how to make it work best for you. We will be using the free, multi-platform software Blender for video editing and Audacity for sound editing.
The skill-share will include a discussion on software/hardware and digital editing tools. Particpants will watch some feminist video art and discuss the meaning of copyright. This will be followed by an editing session using material found on the internet under creative commons licensing.
