Want to get up early on Saturday and get sweaty and dusty?
Join us and spread mulch!

It's easy work - just come for 'half an hour' - while it's cool...

Moreland Council have delivered mulch for the park trees around the Murnong Patch, particularly the allocarurinas and callistemons planted by MECCARG.

Mulching keeps weeds down and will help lock in the wonderful rain.

There will be some wheelbarrows and large rubbish bins to cart with.

If time and energy permits we can also collect some flood rubbish/recycling and generally check out the creek and quarry areas.

Bring enclosed shoes, gloves and water and some bags for recycling and rubbish if you're keen.

There will be no MECCARG activity in the afternoon.
