Urban Forest Strategy

Untitled-2

Hi All,

I am pleased to let you know that Moreland’s Urban Forest Strategy has finally gone live for community consultation.

It is a large document and I hope it captures many of the key challenges and opportunities for improving the current state of our urban forest.

I am running a number of community forums that I hope you may be able to join:

·         ROBINSON RESERVE NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE 104A Reynard St Coburg 7.30-9pm Wednesday 10 May
·         GLENROY LEARNING CENTRE 5B Cromwell Street, Glenroy 6.30-8pm Thursday 11 May
·         NEWLANDS COMMUNITY HOUSE 20 Murray Road, Coburg North 7.30-9pm Tuesday 16 May
·         FAWKNER COMMUNITY HOUSE 79 Jukes Road, Fawkner 7-8.30pm Thursday 18 May
·         BRUNSWICK NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE 43a De Carle St, Brunswick 6.30-8pm Tuesday 23 May

After the consultation process has finished I will be putting together a formal report that will be presented to Council with responses to all the community feedback and any proposed changes to the strategy.

If you have any further questions or concerns, then please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,

Alex English
