Reservoir – we believe you’ve got talent. Bucket loads of it. That’s why on Sunday 1 October we’re handing the stage over to you as part of Reservoir’s first ever talent quest – REZ FACES!
Bands, dancers, magicians, comedians, contortionists, ventriloquists, barbershop quartets, dogs that sing Bohemian Rhapsody – we want to see it all. Come and blow us away with your act, and make Melbourne sit up and take notice of postcode 3073 for once.
REZ FACES is an opportunity for aspiring Reservoir-based performers of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels to showcase their talent in front of an all-star judging panel and a lively and local audience. And no, before you ask – we can’t afford to give our judges swivel chairs like they have on The Voice. Also Ozzie Ostrich is not answering his phone.
Yes – at REZ FACES we might lack a big production budget, but we make up for it with supportive and positive community vibes… and we’d love you to be part of it.
===========THE DETAILS=============
The REZ FACES AUDITIONS will be held on Sunday 1 October at the End of the Line Bar, Regent.
Age ages welcome*.
The top six acts from this event will move on to the REZ FACES GRAND FINAL, held as part of the Reservoir Stomp, on Sunday 22 October at the Preston-Reservoir Bowls Club**.
============HOW TO APPLY=================

• A short biography and description of your act (100 words max)
• Your contact details (email and phone number)
• A link to a YouTube clip or Soundcloud page so that we can preview your act. We will also accept links to Dropbox and other file sharing platforms. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US LARGE MUSIC OR VIDEO FILES.
• If you want to send in our application via snail-mail, email us first and we’ll tell you how.

Prizes, of course - heaps of them - valued at $1,000 in total. We'll be annoucing the prizes on the event page over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.

*Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
** You must be able to perform at both the audition round and grand final event. Please do not apply if you are unavailable for either date.
***Acts for the audition round will determined by the Reservoir Stomp selection committee and notified by email. Decisions made by the Reservoir Stomp selection committee, and the REZ FACES judging panel, are final.
By sending us your entry, you agree that:
1. The Reservoir Stomp may make an audio or video recording of your image or voice; or take photography of you; or make any digital record of your image or voice relating to the performance.
2. The Reservoir Stomp may use your name in relation to the recording/performance.
3. The Reservoir Stomp may, in its discretion, use, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, display the recording/performance but only for the purposes of REZ FACES and Reservoir Stomp promotional activities.
4. You are not entitled to any royalties, fees or compensation in return for any utilisation of the recording/performance.
