Kitchen Hand
Barry Beckett Children’s Centre is looking for a dedicated and committed kitchen hand to work alongside our Centre cook.
The role will be permanent part time, 22.5 hours a week over 5 days.
The role:
- Food preparation
- Assist with cooking of meals
- Receive and store kitchen supplies
- Dishes and general kitchen cleaning
- Assist and support Centre cook
- Be able to cover the cook in her absence.
This role would suit someone looking for family friendly hours, someone studying hospitality or looking for experience in a kitchen.
The applicant must hold a current Working with Children Check, Food Handling Certificate and Certificate in Hospitality (desirable). The applicant must have an understanding of workplace hygiene procedures and workplace health safety procedures
