Burglary

Untitled-2

Just a heads up for folks to be aware.

We are in Boyne St and were broken into this week. Pretty bold - early evening, smashed a large side window and ransacked the house, apparently looking for cash and other mobile valuables.

We lost computers and some valuable jewelry with sentimental value. Could have been worse but pretty unpleasant. Good time to revisit security measures.

House Share

Untitled-2

Hi All,

I am looking for someone or someones to share with me and my 13-year-old son in Coburg. Proving a little tricky to find anyone, but I have two rooms - a large and smaller room that would be perfect for someone who needs a study or has a child (similar age to mine-ish) or a couple.

We're quiet and do regular work, school stuff and love having folk around too. Rent is $1,300 per month. Please feel free to call for further info.

Women's Circle

Untitled-2

Are you interested in being part of a women's circle?

I run two women's circles - one Wednesday evening and one Monday mornings - these circles are opening up to new members for the last couple of sessions for the year (Nov and Dec), this will be an opportunity for you and us to see if we're a fit together.
What happens at our Wednesday evening circle: we share a cup of tea then move into a beautiful small space where we have an opening meditation/reflection, there is then a space for sharing and we close with a meditation/reflection also.

What happens at the Monday morning Circle: we share a cup of tea, are led in an opening meditation/reflection, we share, participate in reflective exercises including a walk along the Merri creek.

These sessions are run around a theme for each month.

These women's Circle are facilitated by Rachael Millsom, and you are asked to make a contribution towards the hire of the space (evening circle) and Rachael's time.

If you are interested and would like to find out more please contact Rachael at rachael@s-e-l-f.com.au

Action!

Old Growth Forests About to to Logged - Take Action!

Ancient forest in East Gippsland's iconic Kuark forest is about to be logged!

Our friends and affiliate members Goongerah Envrionment Centre (GECO) have been working around the clock to protect this forest.
Trees over 400 years old will be cut down this week if we do not act.
A road has been pushed into the forest in preparation to start logging one of the most significant old growth forests in Victoria.

Logging has not yet started so there's still time to stop it.

Take action here - Email Environment Minister Lily D'Ambrosio calling on her to stop the logging of this beautiful forest
