Just a heads up for folks to be aware.
We are in Boyne St and were broken into this week. Pretty bold - early evening, smashed a large side window and ransacked the house, apparently looking for cash and other mobile valuables.
We lost computers and some valuable jewelry with sentimental value. Could have been worse but pretty unpleasant. Good time to revisit security measures.
One of the many great things I value about the Newlands News Blog is that nice Newlanders generously post helpful information like this. I am sorry for their loss and appreciate their making the time and effort to alert other Newlanders to the danger of a break-in. GD
