Two Rooms for Rent

Putting the word out for 2 motivated and responsible new housies for the awesome ye olde Preston Farmhouse. There's a medium-sized north facing room ready by 20/11 (ish) and needs to be filled by December 3. Another bigger room at the front is available in January. Spread the word, this could be the fresh start dream house you or someone rad you know have been looking for! Located just 10 min walk to all the excitement that is Preston Market and train station, 5 min to the no.11 tram, and plenty of buses on Murray or Bell St real close by to get you over to Norflands quick smart.

Looking for mature and respectful peeps, I've got a thesis to write so I need someone self-sufficient and respectful of quiet times. Sharing dinners and food would be great but any future farmhousies MUST be interested in keeping a tidy house, keeping stuff clean and putting in time with the massive garden that needs constant care (there's a veggie patch back there somewhere that needs some lovin for sure). 

House is a 4 bedroom with small dining area and detached kitchen, floorboards and central heating, high ceilings, renovated bathroom, and kitchen. It comes with some easy going chooks and Me. (Rachi 37, do-er of fun things and traveller to nice places) I like to cook and dance and garden and I confess I listen to a lot of radio national during the week but PBS on the weekends. I would prefer someone into cooking good food, (meat-eating fine) minimal plastics and a consciousness about consumption and sustainable living in general. I'm also definitely up for a wine and some chats in our amazing garden, having mini dance parties or watching films on the projector and going to trash n treasure at the drive-in on Sundays.

Weekly rent is $166 for the smaller room, and $176 p/w for the bigger one plus $20 internet and $50ish for other bills per month. House is mostly good for furniture and there is no great big shed or garage for storage but there is a laundry with some shelf space. Possible to negotiate for the demountable shed that would be leaving with the outgoing housemate. We can see if he's willing to leave us his sauna too.
