Friends of Edgar's Creek

Untitled-2

Hi FoEC'ers and Friends,

Before you know it, we are at it again! Planting event number two for 2018 unfolds this weekend, Sunday, May 20th.

We are planting at the Silurian cliff area, west side of the creek. For those who know the last remaining woody weed section close to the old Greening Australia and Department of Justice revegetation sites, it has got a whole lot smaller recently and we will be beginning the next phase of its transition to indigenous flora.

The forecast is relatively good given the last week or so, 15 degrees with a low chance of not much rain (for the weather nerds like me, 30% chance of 0 - 0.4mm of rain - really, a small chance of not much as I said).

Details for the event are as follows:

Sunday 20 May 2018, 1-3pm.

Planting: Shrub and grassland extension at the Silurian Cliff extension - along the escarpment, west bank of the creek.
Hosted by the FoEC, Funded by Melbourne Water Community Grant.
Meet at the Silurian Cliff site – the corner of Spectrum Way & Snapshot Drive, North Coburg or cross at the Kodak bridge and wander over to the site, (an easy way to find us is look on the lower side of the high voltage power line tower).

See you on the creek!

David.
