A cosy night by the fire in the beautiful Fryers Forest with a meal cooked in the ground (Papuan mumu style with hot rocks and leaves in the earth) with a live acoustic set from the Black Orchid Stringband (featuring members of the Melbourne West Papuan community).
Tickets $30 adults/$15 under 18
Ticket includes mumu main course + dessert.
Vegetarian/vegan option available.

This is a fundraising event for the Black Orchid Stringband to continue promoting West Papuan culture as part of their campaign for independence. The group will travel to the Solomon Islands in July to perform at the Melanesian Arts Festival.
