Free

Untitled-2

Potted Aspidistra free to a sympathetic gardener, and a timber crate free to a garden, chook shed, kids' play area.

This large potted aspidistra has seen better days when it was in a garden that I had in Brunswick. There it thrived and looked beautiful in a shaded corner. Since it has been here in my new garden in North Coburg it has not been at all happy (hence its forlorn look) as I don't have a sheltered spot for it until my newly planted trees grow, which is a few years away yet. If you would like it and could love it, please rescue it.  Aspidistras are tough plants; to thrive and look handsome they need only shelter and shade, fairly regular watering, and an occasional dose of fertiliser - they are not called "cast-iron plants" for nothing.

I was about to break up this timber crate when I thought it may be of use to someone. Consider it yours if you have a use for it and can come and take it away.  It measures approximately 30cm x 30cm x 95cm.
