I'd like you to read this.
The farmers and producers of the Collective all produce the very best food there is. Organic, natural-farming, pasture-based. Real food. You can consider it "gourmet" if you like, but I don't think we do.
Think about it this way.
All food used to be like this; organic, natural, real, wholesome.
How did we get to the point where real food became a luxury? Where farmers don't get a fair price, where you read a label and you can't decipher the numbers? Cheap food is getting cheaper, but not only in price, but also in nutrition, and in ethics.
Have a look through our shop. Pasture-based pork, lamb and chicken, organic eggs,
bio-dynamic flour milled only days before it gets to you, organic milk and cheeses, chemical-free olive oil, crackers with no numbers, rhubarb and blueberries, REAL honey.
We are at a crossroads. If more people do not support farming families by paying them a fair price, your food, your health, the health of your family, will be left to corporations who put profits before the environment, nutrition, and people.
The Collective is volunteer-run, with farmers and makers taking 100% of the sales. An unheard of concept, and one which we are proud of.
Lilydale, Somers, Coburg, Phillip Island, Meeniyan, Dumbalk, Fish Creek,
Hampton East, Warragul, Inverloch. If you know people near these suburbs and towns, please let them know about us.
We want to make a difference to the nutrition of your household, the wellbeing of farmers and your tastebuds will handwrite you a letter. I promise.
We need your ongoing support. We can't do this without you.
